Paul vs. James
Paul vs. James visualizes the angry world of early Christianity through an historical reconstruction. It is narrated through the eyes of the original Jewish followers of Jesus led by his brother James and the Gentile followers of Paul led by Evodius, bishop of Antioch.
James knew Jesus throughout his lifetime whereas Paul never met the Jesus who roamed the Galilee speaking about a dramatic new era in human history, the Kingdom of God. The book traces the conflict between the two groups culminating in the late 40's when Paul is hauled before James in Jerusalem to explain his innovative teachings.
